How to get here

**Buzios is located aprox. 165 kilometres to the north of Rio de Janeiro.** Access from Rio is by car, bus or transfers.

FREE TRANSFER
We would like to offer you free transfer from Búzios bus station to El Misti Búzios Hostel & Posada.
Just jump into a taxi (1 minute) and we will re-imburse you the R$ 12 at Check In. Should you decide to walk, it will take 12 min.

COLECTIVE TRANSFER
If you require transfer from the airport please inform us as we will be able to book you in with an operator (bus). Approx. 65 R$ per person one way. Fixed schedule 3 times daily.

PRIVATE TRANSFER
From anywhere in Rio or the Airport of Rio de Janeiro to El Misti Buzios costs between 250-300 R$ one way.

BY BUS
To get to Buzios by bus from Rio, you have to leave from the Rodoviária Novo Río (Bus Station). We recommend you travel with VIAÇAO 1001, they run all day. The trip takes approx. 3 hrs. and costs 35 R$, one way. There are bus and taxi services from Rio Airport to the bus station. Buses from Viação Real Bus Company, run all day long. We recommend you book before!

BY CAR

If you are travelling from the north area of the state, Route BR-101 must be followed in first place and then the entrance to Rio das Ostras, to travel some 56 kilometers until Buzios is reached. If not, we will have to leave from the Rio-Niterói bridge. After crossing it, you must turn left heading for Rio Bonito and then right, facing in the direction of Araruama-Cabo Frio, through Via Lagos. At the end of the road, you must continue travelling along the path some 5 kilometers until Ipiranga petrol station is reached (at the entrance of São Pedro da Aldeia). From there, travel 14 kilometers along route RJ-106 heading for Macaé- Buzios in order to turn right and arrive in Buzios.
