Currency Exchange Rate
We require payment on arrival. Please note that the actual total will be calculated by the hostel and guest house in its local currency, based on the currency exchange rate (if applicable) in effect at the time charging occurs.
Free Transfer
El Misti Búzios Hostel & Guest House would like to offer you a free transfer upon your arrival in Búzios from the bus station to our hostel and guest house. (Bed in dorm must have minimum 2 night stay).
Just jump in a taxi and ask them to take you to El Misti in Ferradura (Previously known as VILLA LUNA in FERRADURA). You pay the taxi (10-12 R$) and we will refund you at Check In.
Improvements
In our strive to improve and upgrade our facilities to satisfy all our guests, El Misti Buzios Hostel & Guest House sometimes undergoes refurbishment work in some parts of the hostel and guest house.
We do our best to ensure guests will not be affected by the renovations but please beware of the latter possibility.
Our Cancellation Policy
The Deposit is required to confirm and guarantee your reservation, the remainder is to be paid on arrival at El Misti Hostel & Guest House Búzios.
Deposits are only refundable for cancellations made within at least 72 hours prior to your scheduled check in. If we have not been notified of the cancelation the first night accomodation will be charged to your credit card. Concerning refunds that require international transfers, the cost will be deduced from the original deposit.
Please note that any cancellations or alterations to your booking must be notified directly to us at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled arrival time or you will be charged to your credit card the full amount of your stay .
*Cancellations for New Year's Package can be made before November, 30th with a 100% refund of the total amount. After that date the amount that has been already been deposited will not be refunded.
*Cancellations for Carnival Package can be made before January, 15th with a 100% refund of the total amount. After that date the amount that has been already been deposited will not be refunded.
*Cancellations for Easter Package can be made before March, 15th with a 100% refund of the total amount. After that date the amount that has been already been deposited will not be refunded.
Sleep Guarantee Policy
We have an always accommodating policy. For reservations guaranteed with a 50% deposit or more at time of booking, rooms are held until hostel and guest house check-out time the day following arrival. In the event more guests arrive than can be accommodated due to hostel overbooking or an unforeseen circumstance, the hostel and guest house will attempt to accommodate guests, at its expense, at a comparable hostel in the area for the oversold night(s), and will pay for transportation to that hostel and guest house.
